Punching machines

Punching machines are used to cut or punch metal sheets, but they also permit to have the whole processing in one single production process. The punching process is the ideal solution for those parts that need special deformations, threads or flaps. The production of the turret changes depending on the different manufacturers: while Trumpf machines have a head that can turn the tool 360° in every angle, regardless of the tool type, other leading companies, such as Amada, have chosen a station configuration, some of which are Index. To reach a higher productivity, some manufacturer, like Salvagnini and Finn-Power, have combined this technology to right angle shears. Starting from simple stand alone configurations, it’s possible to get to bigger automated systems for the production of small or big quantities of finished products at low costs.
