Automation

The adoption of automation parks has allowed to increase the work organization and to have an integrated management of the manufacturing process. These devices have permitted to handle sheets of raw material as well as semi-finished and finished parts. Over time, load and unload devices have been more and more integrated with the rest of the machine, minimizing the space and increasing the production flexibility. The introduction of automations such as automatic load (e.g. Trumpf Load Master), automatic load/unload (e.g. Trumpf Lift Master and Sheet Master or Bystronic Bytrans) and their direct connection to a warehouse, has allowed to better meet the customer’s requirements. The load device consents to load and place the sheets on the pallet changer by means of suction cups. The load/unload automation also consists of the management of a station for finished parts by means of forks that take the finished parts and the scrap skeleton. In order to have a completely automatic handling, the use of automatic warehouse at single or more towers has proved to be very useful for sheets metal stocking. This permits to have an unmanned production for hours and a better coordination of materials inside the factory. From a semi-automatic load to a completely automated manufacturing, the customer is so able to achieve an automatic handling of materials, customizing his manufacturing process and optimizing both costs and production times.
